Well known in Cape Town as a venue for large and medium-size functions, this elegant, chandeliered setting is decorated in grand style and lends itself to wedding receptions, product launches, conferences and exhibitions.
It may be reached by a separate exterior entrance or through the hotel foyer and comprises two inter-connecting rooms, which may be used in various formats, according to client needs. The adjoining “Tent Room” is also available for buffets and cocktails.
In late 2007, our famous venue underwent the ultimate in make-overs. The entrance and staircase to the reception is now carpeted in a lavish red while the walls are covered in wall paper of a cream and gold damask pattern, creating a stylish and glamorous visual impact.
Upstairs, in the main Ballroom space, the floor is covered in the same royal red while the walls above the dado rail are clad in a fabric of cream damask with a pewter colour braiding.
